"I came here the first night of my honeymoon on the recommendations of my host airbnb. Absolutely incurable. Menu Fixed 3 dishes: Salad, Entrance, Desserts. Portions are huge….a seared tuna prepared perfectly was so large it fed two for lunch the next day! Ecrevisse delicious and piled high. Be sure to book in advance due to small number of tables and its popularity. Don’t miss, worth traveling for. St Sat is more calm and less hectic that the other hilltop towns nearby."

"After reading the wonderful remarks we decided to have dinner under the platane. The hotel and its buildings are very inviting and the recently finished gardens promise a future oasis for calm and relaxation. The restaurant is situated under a gigantic and extremely ancient platane. As night falls candles are lit around the grounds, magic! As you can imagine, with such a setting we were sure to enjoy the much anticipated meal. What a disappointment! The entre was without research and poorly presented. Because we are vegetarians the cook was unable to adapt to our needs and we were offered cheese with some salty vegetables for the main course. Even our non vegetarian friend found his menu of grilled sardines very unremarkable. As a vegetarian for many years I have learned that the best cooks are those that can adapt a menue to suit their clients needs. Lots of room for improvement..........!"
