"Very disappointed … been told by friends under new management and food is great. Tried to phone but number on website not connect. Checked if evening meal still available. Arrived just to be told no more despite website stated until 8.30pm Monday-Saturday … at least update the website first to avoid loosing new customers."

"As I had firstly visited this Micro Bar earlier in the week, and enjoyed the visit. Plenty of different real ales, from different breweries to be had, and a very good pint. I decided to catch the bus up to Wickham again to give it another go. When I arrived the One Eyed Stag, was exceptionally busy, so was everywhere else, in the vicinity. Anyway when I made it to the bar I was asked was I part of the party. To which I replied no. “Sorry Sir, we have a private party here”. I left very disappointed to say the least, after all it had took me best part of an hour, to get there on public transport. So if you are traveling to this Micro pub, be careful as there is a chance you may be refused service. As it happens, just further along the road there are another four pubs that all sell real ale, served with a good standard, so please be wary of the One Eyed Stag, refusing you service."
