"Topsy turvy experience.We met another couple for lunch here. One of them is in a wheelchair which we told the host as soon as we got there as we requested a table. This completely unnnerved this young man. First, he had to consult his seating chart for about 5 minutes even though the restaurant was clearly almost completely empty. Then, he led us through two thirds of the restaurant to almost the back end of it and put us at a table for six and did not remove any of the chairs. He then quickly walked away before we had a chance to ask him to remove a chair so the wheelchair could fit in. On our way to this table we walked past at least four other tables that would easily have fit us.Our server Dan was the complete opposite. He was gracious, accommodating, and on top of everything. When our drinks were somewhat delayed, he ran off to see what happened and had someone deliver them to us. When we were done, he accompanied us to the front and opened the doors so that we did not have to struggle with the doors. He was definitely an asset to the place.The food is the standard for this chain and I really have nothing special to say about it. It was good, it was delivered in a timely fashion, and they made no mistakes with it.The host was a disaster, which is why I rated this experience as low as I did. He is the face of the place. I was not the only one who had terrible experiences with him as I observed and overheard as we had lunch there."

"Ii hadn’t been to Rex Lobster in ages and when it was brought up I thought it was still lobster fest. I love lobster, so I thought we should check it out. Sadly, the information I had been given about lobster fest was old news, but I love their rolls was in the mood for lobster.The lobster tail was good. I remember them having very good shrimp scampi, but this time it was horrible. No flavor. Just shrimp in plain butter. The scallops were okay. Rice had very little flavor, too. The Mac cheese was still good as lunch later. I got way too much other food to eat that with my seafood.I still would recommend going to a decent seafood restaurant and paying more for good seafood instead of getting frozen seafood for a lower price. It’ll be a long time before I go back, I’m sure and I’m happy about that."

Another conspicuous failure point is the avocado quality. They consistently serve rock-hard avocados. I understand it's difficult to catch them at their ideal ripeness, but Piada proves it possible at scale. If the ingrediants can't be sourced consistently, they need to own up to it and offer substitutions."

"The food was not good and management is awful. After taking and hour and 45 minutes to make our order it was missing things when it was delivered. Doordash refunded the money to the store so he could refund us and he refuses to so he is basically taking money that is not his and getting double paid for something that took wayyyy to long and was missing items."
