"We were in the church in Altenkirchen and were hungry and thirsty. Directly opposite the church, we discovered the shields of the small farm café, where an apple throw of Grandma Art and a cup of coffee were offered for 3,20 euros. Amazing how we are now, we had to look at this. So we went between the houses to the court. In the yard there were fixed tents and parasols built, on the front there was still a small beach basket in the sun. Since the weather was very warm, we liked to take the places under the roof. At 13.00 there was not much, except two small families with your children. The owner was alone at the time and asked for an understanding of the waiting times. Since we're on vacation and had no time pressure, it didn't matter what we were waiting for. When we waited, we saw how much love the plates were decorated that went to the two families that looked very good. We ordered the apple wort with and once without ice cream with a normal coffee. The cake was homemade and really tasteful like Omi, the coffee was also very good. Tuesday and Thursday, the smoked oven is fired there and then redfish freshly smoked. This time we didn't make it, but for the next time we're on our plan. The operator has the Hofcafe already in the 9th season and if it continues to be operated with so much love and commitment, many more seasons are added. Absolute recommendation from us!!!"

"I wanted to take my wife out to dinner today, the atmosphere looked good so we went straight in. Starting straight from the waitress, we wanted a table and were then seated in a wind tunnel on the terrace, on Wittow(windland) if the weather looks like it 's going to be bad, something will happen! Should you know, I was born and grew up in Dranske. Well, after we had the tickets, we changed to the restaurant on our own initiative (not welcome) when after an eternity the waitress finally took the drinks, we noticed that no food was served anywhere, and in some cases there were several apologetic drinks on them tables because the guests had been waiting for their food for a long time. We immediately forgot about the food and thought we would have a drink when the drinks arrived and then quickly go to the anchor around the corner. After about half an hour there was still no sign of our drinks. So we got up and left without eating or drinking and then the big thing happened... After we were outside, the waitress came after us and suddenly wanted to sell the drinks (surely already booked), but no, it 's too late, we 're leaving. Halfway there, the boss came along and demanded loudly and in an unprofessional manner that we had to pay for the drinks, which I told him in my finest standard German where he can push the bill and the drinks if you treat your customers like that and because Apart from the order and a sufficient waiting time (30 minutes for 2 drinks), we didn 't get anything and enjoy it. I don 't see the need to pay for it. That 's not how you run a business and that 's not how you treat customers, maybe at your house but not here!!! paying guests are served and then cashed in and not the other way around so write that down your throat no goods, no money and that 's it! !!!!!!!!! We don 't understand at all that the rest of the customers, some with their entire families, put up with it. But to each his own. For us and everyone we know and hopefully some Google users never again, save yourself money and nerves! You 'd rather go to the anchor or to the coffee shop as far as I 'm concerned, or to the kiosk on the corner to eat, but this shed is the last!!!! Parking: Only hotel guests or in the public square opposite Wheelchair accessibility: Not possible"
