"This place was absolutely amazing! The food was very tasty looking, mouthwater, and amazingly flavored. I miss it, and I want to go again! It is very tasty, although it is a bit expensive. I definitely recommend this place!"

"I don't write reviews often, but felt the need to share what a gem this restaurant is. Last weekend I dined at Pogreba with a group of 6 people, and everyone at our table felt that this was the best meal we had every had!! Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the drink specials and desserts. Expect fine dining prices, but unlike some other fine dining restaurants, Pogreba's entrees include hearty portions, as well as a very good size salad of soup of your choice, and fresh warm rolls with specialty butters. The atmosphere is beautiful. It's warm and elegant; high-end without being stuffy or pretentious. And the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back. If you are in the La Crosse area, and looking for someplace to dine, I'd highly recommend Pogreba!"

"After spending a couple of weeks, we got to know about this place planned our next dinner here which apparently fell on St Paddy's day! This place has a beautiful view of the lake behind, cozy and comfortable interiors and gooood food at a very affordable price! Three of us were very happy with the food and service! Must Try Walleye Cheeks! Their Chimichanga (chicken) was the entree I tried and boy, I will be back for it again."

"Most of the time China Inn is a positive delicious experience however my most recent visit was below standard. We got there approximately 45 minutes before closing yet much of the food was close to empty and/or not being replaced. Workers were having loud conversations across the restaurant which took away from the ambiance. While getting food with our initial plate, our bill was already placed on our table left with fortune cookies which creates a feeling of being rushed out before taking a bite. About 35 minutes before closing, all of the fruit and salad were removed from the buffet, disappointing to my company along with several food choices being served relatively cold. Once again, this is not my normal experience with this establishment and am hopeful for a better experience next time."
