"We were very well received by the manager's staff very well listened to a very nice attentive team. We spent a night in a very beautiful room with a very comfortable bedding overlooking the village. "Small restaurant with 10 tables max. Good fish salad. Fresh products. Average service. The restaurant specifies that the slowness is due to how they prepare the dishes on demand. So no surprise. Unfortunately the dish of my companion consists of a false net, while it was mentioned on the card as being knitted with bits with jumped pdts, was not at all high! A meat that contained too much waste (skin, fat, nerves) for the sum of 23 euros and when the remark was made, the answer was a false net. Because the meat was swimming in the sauce it was impossible to see all the wastes of which it was composed. Clear lack of questioning that will not allow them to take into account the customer's opinion to evolve! Apologies would have been appreciated especially since we were, around 8pm, the last customers. On the other hand, the carafe pink wine was served at an inadapted temperature and when, at our request, we were brought ice it was in a glass...not at all as well as the temperature of the wine must be discounted. So opt for salads and their burger but not for a good piece of meat."

"Been 3 times in the last week as one of the 2 best places to eat in Brides les Bains. Very busy so we should have booked in advance and this is recommended, but we were lucky to get a table each time. Staff very helpful and translate the menu beautifully if we struggled with some language issues! The burgers are delicious and are hand made. The pizzas were also good.My daughter had escargot for the first time and also the fondue and loved both. Steak was a bit gristly on one occasion, salads good and service helpful.Would recommend but do book if you can!"

"We were all four nights at dinner, we were in Brides-les-Bains. we had every time beautiful meals and very friendly service. fondue, tartiflette and cheese plates with local cheese varieties in the Savoie region were listed. the menus were delicious, loved the cannette and trout, each. on absolute perfection. the chestnut-velouté was a manifestation and the ile fottante with tropical fruits was one of the best things I had eaten in France."

"Thought we had found a nice restaurant as when you enter it looks very cosy. Unfortunately appearance is the best bit. We ordered fish soup which was so weak and tasteless we couldn't have more than a couple of spoonfuls. The bread provided was very tough and stale. After 20 mins our drinks still hadn't arrived so we fetched a bottle of water from the bar. We'd already had to fetch our own salt and pepper to try to bring life to the soup. At this point we decided that the main course probably wasn't going to bed better so complained and said we weren't happy and were going to leave. We were shooed from the restaurant! We eat out very frequently and this is probably one of our worst experiences. Le Petit Auberge opposite - our alternative venue was superb"
