"We were a party of 4 which included 2 vegetarians - The chef "russelled" up 2 fabulous veggie meals and we had the plate de jour. Every meal was brilliant - we would definitely go back there again. Plus the wine selection includes some great local wines."

"We were recommended this lovely little restaurant by the proprietors of our accommodation at Manoir d’Astree. It is a lovely little place, with a great atmosphere appearing popular with locals and visitors and it was full for evening dinner and so we would definitely recommend making a reservation. The menu is very small offering an amuse bouche, one entree then a choice of one fish or one meat main dish and then one dessert or cheese to choose from. The food is fresh and very well presented, there is just a tiny, tiny Japanese influence with some of the flavours although not noticeably so. It was refreshing to be offered a menu providing something a little different to the usual dishes of the region. The front of House was operated by just one lovely female waitress who was so happy and despite the fact we speak no French and she no English it was very easy as the food choices are so small! The fixed price offering was 27 euros or 37 euros and the wine list was reasonable and we were able to have red, white or rose House wine only by the glass at 4 euros. Overall an excellent evening with a super atmosphere, highly recommend and do not forget to book otherwise you are likely to be disappointed."
