"We stayed one tight on the adjacent Eurocamp site and thought we would use the restaurant rather than the café. Big mistake. menu consisted of steak, Steak Hache and fried fish plus a trout option. We opted for fried fish, one steak and the Steak Hache. Fried fish was mostly skin and was dry and tasteless pieces of whitebait sized perch and carp. Totally revolting with no flavour whatsoever apart from cooking oil. Never mind, you get a great steak Hache in a service station so this will be good. Not at all - the beef was so hard my fork made a noise when I tapped it. We had asked for medium rare!. These Hache's must have been left over from lunch or last week and then re-heated in a deep fat fryer or something. Disgusting, and we sent them back. No apology or offer of something else, but at least we were not charged for them. The woman running the place just sat like a big spider at the till, no eye contact and totally sour. Still cost 80 euro for three meals. P.S. avoid the free aperitif - it is warm and sweet and no wonder they give it away. For balance, the entrecote was good."
