"I think that fellow diners may look at the pictures of this restaurant and be less than enthused. They would be wrong - the pictures do not do the food justice.The simple presentation belies the excellent quality of the ingredients and the great flavours created by the young but very enthusiastic chef.We had the good fortune to be taken for a Christmas lunch by our excellent accountant, (Merci M. Perrin). We had an excellent dish of Foie Gras to start and then sliced beef for the main course. Absolutely bursting with flavour and a memorable dish. The dessert was a combination of rich chocolate and apple.The wine was from the village and was excellent. The wine prices in particular were very good value indeed.Give this place a try. It may not look fabulous in the pictures but flavour, quality, value and particularly the range of both wines and beers are exceptional. 10/10"
