"The best meal we had in Lake Maggiore! The terrace is absolutely beautiful and views are stunning, you’re tucked away from the bussle of the island making it feel very intimate. The food and drinks were outstanding and so tasty but the best part of our experience here was the service… i think our server was called Hugo but he made our trip what it was! He was so friendly and personable, every interaction was great and he made us laugh and smile every time he came over. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone visiting!"

"I ate there several times and enjoyed each occasion. The pizza's are wonderful (try the Il Bucaniere) and other food equally good. I also stayed a few nights and while the rooms are very basic, are clean enough and what one expects for the price. Giovanni and his staff went well out of their way to help us a couple of times which was greatly appreciated. They do not speak much English but enough to make interactions fun and interesting!"

"Ourgluten-free and dairy-free dietary needs were met with a beautiful explanation from Franco as to the items on the menu we could have, and he offered a beautiful Pinot Grigio which i gratefully accepted. Sadly, there was no dessert other than lemon sorbet that we could have. The restaurant is a real gem, but we left over 100 euro."
