"We were a group of 30 people, were able to close the menus in advance and the value for money was very good. Quite nice and a modern touch you do not expect, but turna out to be really nice. The staff were very nice even if we were late by an hour. Will come back if I pass by Vallorbe!"

"I had booked a place for my family for mother’s day. When we arrived we were almost immediately seated and had, despite the short-term reservation, a fairly nice place. The service was very pleasant and also the food is definitely worth going there. The wonderful thing of this restaurant is that it can be used as a starting or ending point for a visit of the nearby stalactite caves of Grotte de Vallorbe. After having taken our order the waiter served us a nice small appetiser to our aperitif. Two of us had ordered the classic Tartare which is actually prepared manually and prior to be served the waiter serves you a small sample to see if the tartar is as you would like it. One person had the Croute Morille, a Swiss dish served in a ceramic pan which is baked bread with several ingredients over it (a little bit like a heavy hot breakfast), and in this case served with morels – excellent, for sure. The dessert we had, a moelleux au chocolat, is a warm, inside still liquid, chocolate cake – was of excellent taste as well. Definitely worth a visit, and don’t forget to do the stalactite caves."
