"New owners are lovely, fish is still fresh and well cooked, 4 stars because 1.need to get potatoe fritters please doesn’t matter if small, other chip shops throw in extra... can’t be f&c worhout potato fritters. 2. Open some sundays and not others but details says open til 8pm... drive in from aramoho... nit cool, please leave a voice message if you’re not going to be open. Other than that, the food is really good!"

"Very over priced for the quality of the food. Fish was bordering on being overcooked, wasn't moist and the salad did not seem fresh, without any dressing. Used to eat at the oaks some years ago and found it to be great back then, however after the meal we had tonight, we will not be back."
