"I visited here one Monday lunchtime, I was fairly early, 11.45am but there were some tables already taken, people eating lunch. There is room outside and inside to sit but more or less on the main Lucerne - Küssnacht road so a little noisy.The diners seemed to be mostly workers and the menu only offered a choice of three lunch menus. I didn't want so much so I asked if I could have something smaller. The answer was emphatically 'No'. No attempt was made to accommodate me. I had a Cola Zero and later a coffee, when the bill came it was an astounding CHFr 9.60. On top of that the waitress was a little shocked when I took the 40 Rappen change.The level of service needs attention."

"The terrace offers spectacular views over the lake and hotel pool. When the sun is out it gets understandably busy in the afternoon but when staying at the hotel we practically had it all to ourselves. If it does get cool then they have big fur overcoats to borrow. The staff are very attentive and the food is almost as good as the views."
