"A small restaurant on the land serves a vegan dish. the homemade couscous patties are very tasty and the sweet is fresh and tasty. the waitress was friendly and helpful. also a vegan mixed salad as starter was available."

"After a good walk we wanted to sit in this restaurant's Biergarten. After sitting for more than 20 mins I had to climb up to the entrance to order our drinks, they probably tust reopened for the summer because there was a muffy smell inside. After serving us with the drinks (Beer was good, Rosé below average) the lady left us and didnot return. I had to climb back up again and go inside to pay. The owner (I presume) was quarrelling with a client and had no time for me. After a few minutes the lady that served us found time for me so I could finally pay and leave. Will be a good story for at home but this was the last time anyone could see us here..."

"Stopped here for lunch, it looked attractive from outside. The service was friendly, the food was good, at reasonable prices, considering everything must be brought up on the cable-car. If the weather is good you can sit outside, otherwise you still get a good view from some of the tables inside the restaurant."

"One of the best cordon bleus I've ever had! Other dishes very good too. Crowded in the winter season so the service is a bit slow, but considering the great food it's excusable."

"The Rhone valley in Goms and Obergoms is not widely served with really attractive restaurants. Gommerstuba in the tiny village of Ernen, between Brig and Fiesch, is an exception. We are about once or twice a year in the neighborhood and always grab the opportunity to eat there. As we did last Wednesday. The service and quality of food was once again excellent and worth a detour as the Michelin guides would say. Unfortunately the unique couple that covers both the front and the back is planning to retire within the next year and are now looking for a successor. Any young couple that enjoys running its own show and living in one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland should seriously consider exploring this."
If you want to have a drink after work and sit with friends or alone, Gommerstuba from Ernen is a good bar, Furthermore, the customers of the establishment enjoy the large variety of the various coffee and tea specialities that the establishment has available. Also, the elements of Swiss cuisine that the place serves, convinces guests time and again, the restaurant provides but also dishes from the European context.
