"Absolutely the most cozy environment of all North Shore restaurants. Feeling a real home away from home. We had the Knockwurst and Bratwurst and the Veal Cordon Blue. All were incredibly delicious and the staff was very warm and welcoming. I'll be back soon!"

"The food doesn’t even feel very German, only a 1/4 of the menu. I had the sauerbraten and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were instant potatoes. The gravy was the worst. The sauerkraut and red cabbage was depressing."

"When I went to another Brownstone for the first time, I ordered eggs and they lubricated like vinegar! So I waited to check this place until I gave him a second shot because the atmosphere, the menu and the servers are all really good. I was hesitant to order eggs again, but my friend ordered them on the side. I had the iron avocado breakfast, with fried eggs slightly over, instead of fried. My breakfast was wonderful, that was my friend. No vinegar taste on her eggs."

"Me and 4 friends met up there for the first time as we had tickets to the Northport Theater. The drinks were great and the service was friendly , attentive and nice since we don't always get together. We ordered the giant pretzel, bacon wrapped dates and mozzarella sticks for appetizers to shore. They all were great. The pasta of day was a hit, so was the salmon, the skirt steak needed a little more seasoning but was cooked perfectly I order the Caesar salad and the grill calamari. The calamari was not great but over we had a nice time and will be back"
