"Tja, nun ist ein Dönerladen in Görlitz dabei und bekommt daher stellvertretend meinen Frust ab. Vorab: Döner im Dönerpalast (wieso eigentlich fälschllich in zwei Worten??) ist gar nicht schlecht, also durchaus sein Geld wert.Allgemein dürfte es in Deutschland wohl keine Stadt geben, in der auf einen Einwohner mehr Dönerbuden kommen als in Görlitz. Immerhin deckt der Dönerpalast da vom Stadtteil her eine Lücke ab. Aber eigentlich schreit die riesige Konkurrenz doch nach Alleinstellungsmerkmalen. Die gibt es hier wie sonst aber auch nicht! Döner, Döner und nochmal Döner bis zum Abwinken. Wo sind die Adana-Spieße, Dolmadokia, Köfte (bieten in Görlitz magere zwei Läden an!)? Hingegen überall die unleckere Dürümvariation. Aber vielleicht ist der Görlitzer ja wirklich der am eintönigsten Essende (Döner, Asia-Nudeln mit Döner, Wurstgulasch - das war`s) Deutsche überhaupt. Türkisch könnte so lecker sein. Aber in Görlitz scheint es nur darum zu gehen, wer mehr Fleisch ins Brot packt, dabei wäre weniger Fleisch, mehr Salat, weniger triefend überlaufende Sauce und vor allem andere Angebote eine echte MARKTLÜCKE, für die man auch mal weiter fährt! Immerhin gibt es im Dönerpalast auch Falafel - das scheint an der Lausitzer Neiße schon die große Exotik zu sein."
