"We came here at lunch and I had the €41 Menu Decouverte. Every item of food from the imaginative amuse-bouche to the macaroons that came after the meal was perfectly cooked. I particularly liked the fact that the main courses came with plenty of vegetables. Seafood is fresh and beautifully prepared. The sorbets at the end of the meal - especially the lemon mint one - were spectacular. Best of all, we did not come away feeling bloated or stuffed to the gills. The wine list is excellent and staff knowledgable. Service is attentive and we never felt rushed. Yes, L'Ecallier is expensive but the set menus are worth every euro."
