"There is a nice choice of fish, meat and salads, with possibility to compose two/three-course menus for about 25 or 29 euros. The place seems to be famous for platter of seafood, we saw many takeaways as we were here. I tried the recommended fish of the day , weever and razor shell (vive et couteaux) with home-made carrot purée . The fish was perfectly cooked and tasty, the carrot purée had the right amount of butter. The staff is very nice and the location is very agreeable, with a large terrasse. I definitely recommend the place."

"For the first time in my life I’ve decided to permanently quit eating at restaurants, I saw the lady making my food pick up a piece of meat that fell in her kitchen and put it back into my kebab. 2 while eating I found a hair strand in my food . I was served water in the dirtiest glass with stains smelling of urine. While eating, I smell farces coming from the back room and left immediately didn’t finish my food . Please work on hygiene"

"Tested at lunch with midday formulas. We enjoyed ourselves and came away satisfied. The spring rolls, gyosas, chicken skewers, salad, etc., everything was delicious! However, a little effort is required in the service. Few people that lunchtime but some dishes arrived late. "We stop for lunch at this archetypal French café/restaurant twice a year when travelling between the ferry and the Vendee coast. It used to be a transport café but the lorries now take the Belleville sur Vie bypass. It’s now full every weekday with local workers most with their regular tables and bottles of wine. The lorry park has been converted to a normal carpark and bus stop but if we drive round the block there is always room to park our car caravan with no problem. You start by helping yourself from the starters’ buffet; a good choice of salads and cold meats. While eating this, the friendly waitress brings your water, wine bread and takes your order from a choice of four plat du jour. This choice always includes a fish, a beef and a pork dish. After your main she will bring you the cheese board while you choose from one of the four desserts on offer. Finally we like to take our coffee outside in the sun at the front to enjoy a smoke and the view down the main street to the old church. Watered, fed and refreshed we pay the bill €11:80 per head – for a four course meal including wine and coffee! Although traditional, the café is very clean and modern inside and the toilets are immaculate. Probably one of the best value meals you will ever get and a real taste of traditional France. Warning: it's only open at weekends bank holidays by reservation."

"We've been there three times,and find the higher-priced fixed menu, wine included, to be the best value. It's not just the dishes which are good, but the tiny servings in-between (for example, a thimbleful of delicious soup) We highly recommend the foie gras,cooked to perfection, and the meat dishes which have never disappointed. On our most recent visit the fish seemed a bit dry but otherwise everything was fine. Service friendly, neither obsequious nor inattentive. You can take friends there, confident that you won't be let down. Very small resto, so book in advance."

"I just went to this pitiful restaurant the cold chain is broken at all levels the salads are laid on a table by fifty the beef cheeses are laid on the table too so they have time to cool my order was cold I asked them to warm it they told me that no it's like they don't have at all the meaning of the customer that I had my cold beef cheese It’s not at all well organized they’re at least six to this trapping on it in a very limited space it’s pitiful that I’ve never seen frankly the great thing that I’ve been extremely disappointed to eat cold and have to take my head with them to warm up my dish by the way they’ve been wrong since the beginning I had to wait in addition to having my cold menu the rice was really disappointed"
