"The food is very good and I was impressed with their salad that had grilled chicken on it. We live in town and rarely eat close to home, but this is a very nice spot to take the kids for a treat, and the prices are very reasonable. Nifty bathroom too!"

"My husband and I discovered this jewel of a café on the way back to Hamilton on Sunday, September 11. Unfortunately, the house was sold out smoked salmon, but no matter. We had the Benny with pork and bearnaise. That was one of the best Bennys I ever had! The eggs were perfectly soft, great sauce, much pulled pig and the biscuit light and buttery. Beautiful touch with the paprika burgers and beautifully dressed green side salad. And a beautiful porcelain teapot by Earl Grey: Terrific service and value! We will definitely stop again!"

"Weekends usually bring in different staff and mistakes are often made. Tables and floor not wiped or cleaned often enough....Employee once cleaned table for us and left it wet. We got paper napkins and dried it up only to find the napkins soaked up dirty filthy water. Had we not done this, our table would have dried up filthy. Suzi is the BEST employee in the place!"

"I felt as if they saw that we were new in their pizza shop and assumed that we were going through so that an old pizza was reheated. it was worse than food business frozen pizza. the reason why I accept what I said above is because there is no way that new or that would still be there in harriston if that is what they served all their customers. we'll never be back."

"My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home from camping over the long weekend. There was a bit of a line up, which took a little longer than we thought it would, but nothing too bad. Once we finally got to the front of the line to order, they said it would be another 15 minutes for food. Again, not too bad. Ordered chicken fingers with fries, and a hotdog with a poutine. As I waited a bit, I decided to grab a scoop of ice cream while I waited for my food. I ordered and stepped to the side, but the girl never served my ice cream. She moved on to the next customers and then disappeared in the back somewhere. It was only a few more minutes until our food came out at this point, so I asked if I could just grab the scoop in a few minutes since the food was ready now. She said yeah sure, and then proceeded to scoop my ice cream on the spot. This made me a bit frustrated, as obviously I can't eat them at the same time. So I choose the food, because I was really hungry. It was okay. The dip sauce for the chicken fingers was disgusting though. When I eventually got around to the semi melted ice cream, it was awful as well. All the flavours were Chapman's, which has never been my favourite. I ended up getting cookie dough and chocolate chips, usually a safe bet for me, but not this time. I threw the whole thing out 2 bites in. Overall, I will not be back. There are several other eateries in the area I would rather try."

"Service can be spotty depending on who is working and whether or not they're having a good day or a bad day. Especially in the kitchen or so it seemed.I have had wings, pizza, the taco salad, steak and the fish and chipsHere's what I think: loved the wings, the pizza was delicious but the homemade sauce did not agree with me, the taco salad is light but satisfying, the steak was too thin and dried out and the fish and chips were good.With regards to the prices: wing night on Wednesdays is a real deal, but other than that all the items on the menu are priced rather high in my opinion considering this establishment is more along the lines of a diner/pub than a fine dining experience.Okay place to eat if you don't have high expectations or standards; otherwise your better off grabbing a soup and sandwich at Tim Hortons"
