"Was super excited. the customer service was good. could be more attentive, but it was so comprehensible at lunchtime. a taco plate ordered and the rice was delicious. Unfortunately, both my chicken and beef tacos were extremely dirty and advised/taste a little? farmy. has potential, but won? not return due to the lack of season on tacos."

"Hubby and I visited establishment on Saturday, August 6th, 2022! Our total bill was $63.04 $3.00 tip! ?? Highway robbery only went there to support Astros newest teammate Jose Pena! Never again will we be supporting or visiting this place!! Green spicy ?? hot sauce triggered Rhinitis flare up, irritated watery eyes ?! Diabetes patients stay away from Fresaca high sugary content (definitely will spike your glucose levels !! I ordered the Watermelon Fresaca, 1st young female waitress couldn't speak English kept replying back with okay you want Lemon Fresaca. Hubby finally stated whatever everyone else orders (received a sugary Lemon Fresaca similar to Lemon pie?? ? . Another older Spanish waitress (beautiful white hair took my order on chicken enchilada plate #6 with green sauce, definitely didn't get my order correct! ?? Instead I received three white cheesey enchiladas, rice and beans were good. Spanish waitress (white hair stated she would credit our bill for mix-up (claimed she heard cheese when I definitely said out loud chicken ? ? ! Unfortunately, item wasn't removed from our bill for she would've had to pay for it out of her tip money ?! Hubby ordered the Alambres Special #3, he stated the meat ? was a bit chewy. Had 2 Dos Equis XX ?? (HEB sales a 6pk 12oz bottles for $10.58 , 2 glasses of water ? ? and a container full of Menudo to go (definitely will be leaving a review on Menudo !! Menudo didn't come with hominy instead the intestines were chewy, flavorless, gristle and rubbery! My dog wouldn't even eat it!"

"We've been here a couple of times and always enjoy ourselves. I'm actually leaving this review not for the food, but because of the excellent service. Our server Ellie was exceptional. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor elevated the evening. The recommendations were spot-on, and the service was prompt. Our drinks stayed filled and the chips were flowing! Thank you Ellie! The food was a bit of a different story this time. I was disappointed in the fish tacos. The fish was overly firm and dry (seasoned nicely) and the whole taco itself was dry (meaning no pops of flavor, no sauce, etc) just disappointing. As I've said earlier, it wasn't our first time here and we'll be back... I just will stay far away from the fish taco."

"We had the best experience with Freebirds today! They didn't have the chicken I wanted, so I said I would wait for me the manager Mike and the staff) was extremely courteous, his service was exceptional. Offer us many extras for our waiting. that was not so long. He and the staff showed us how customer service should look! Definitely 5 stars!"

"In a strip center (Marcin Plaza) on 2920 next to Texas Automotive Group is Uncle Julio's. They were doing a brisk business when I arrived at 7:15 Thursday night. After the host seated me I was promptly brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and two cups of fresh salsa; a chilled creamy green salsa and a warm smoky red salsa which had a little spice to it. The menu is extensive and varied. I ordered the 3 cheese enchiladas pictured below. Those are the cheesiest enchiladas I've ever had. The were filled with warm gooey cheese and topped with more cheese. You can order 2 or 3. If you order 3 you better be hungry. Thursday night the house margaritas are BOGO. Kids eat free on Sunday with the purchase of an adult entree. HH is all day Mon-Thur and until 7 pm Friday night."
