"Love the place and atmosphere. Very very friendly staff. Love that there is so much room where you sit and easy to park a pram . The food is delicious and great in portion. Have been here heaps of time had there breakfast and cocktails and coffee. Can’t complain at all everything’s great . I am a local living around the area and recommend others to try ."

"Had dinner last night here with one friend.Was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of the food.My friend had purchased a voucher on line so two entrees, two main courses and two glasses of wine were included for $49. Coffee was extra.We both had the Salted Calamari entree, which came out steaming hot and the Calamari was so tender. The side sauce/aioli whatever you call it was tasty and went well with the Calamari.I then had the Surf and Turf, yes the dearest item on the menu was not excluded from the voucher like some other places. The Garlic Prawns and the steak were very well cooked and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The dressing on the salad was interesting. Maybe I should have ordered that on the side, next time I will as I will go back here.The meals were certainly generous. I could not eat all the chips that were on the plate. These had been freshly cooked and were really nice chips.My friend had slow cooked lamb shanks from the Specials board and said they were beautiful.Bunkers Cafe is located on the Yarrambat Golf Course so while we ate we had the view of the kangaroos on the fairway and a lovely view of the sunset.Table we sat at next to the window got a bit cold when the sun went down, so we moved to a table next to the fire for coffee.All over this was great value with the voucher in a delightful setting.Would highly recommend, hope they keep this cook and don't make too many changes."

"Staff are friendly and helpful without being at all pushy or intrusive. The homestead and its surrounds are gorgeous. I would have wanted the Spanish meatballs a bit spicier but they were still delicious. For coffee I would recommend going for the normal cup size over the mug, there was more effort put into making a good coffee on the smaller cup. (Unless it was just a different person making the second coffee, who had better skill? Unknown. No complaints on the mug, it was entirely adequate, but the smaller cup was excellent."
