"This place is our go to now for good Mexican food! And the staff were sooo friendly. I have 3 things I watch for when judging a Mexican restaurant: chips and salsa, horchata, and the enchiladas and tamales (my go to). I am SO happy to say all three were delicious! First, chips and salsa: salsa flavor and spice were perfect, chips tasted like they were NOT just poured from a bag (which is good), and they also bring out some ref. beans to dip in as well that tastes yummy! Second, horchata: HOMEMADE! need I say more? Third, my go to: I got the combination 3 plate with a chicken enchilada, shredded beef enchilada, and a tamale. These were yummy too! Though I will say that the chicken and shredded beef in the enchiladas didn't have as much flavor themselves. The flavor came from the sauce and cheese on top. Still tasted good. And they give you HUGE plates! I had two full meals from my one plate (leftovers heated well). Their guac is good too! My husband got a smothered burrito and said the same about the meat could've had more flavor, but overall really liked it! We also got the melted queso dip with chorizo on top for an appetizer and it was SO good! So many calories, I'm sure, but worth it. It was VERY greasy though."

"It is a fun place to celebrate a birthday, we sat, they cook entertaining. Some had sushi and some had cooked before us. Both were delicious, the service is always good. My four-year-old nephew calls it the whale restaurant he enjoys the white rice and the waiter knows him. Although they brought my niece to the birthday dessert, we were allowed to bring our own cake. Very clean, good service and lots of fun memories."

"Normally I’d send it back, but my girlfriend doesn’t like to complain; she’s just said we won't go back. But since we spent almost $60 for two plates of halibut that wouldn’t measure up to one serving in any other restaurant, I have to say something. Our waitress was an amazing, super nice person; this isn't her fault, but $27 for a piece of halibut that equaled four bites; I’d likened it to the size of a McDonald's hash brown patty, only not quite as thick. I thought they were joking, or maybe they thought we were splitting a meal. But when the bill came, it reflected two orders. I say, charge $10-$15 more and give me a decent portion. We all understand things are going up in cost. On top of that, one little scoop of mashed potatoes and a small serving of killed asparagus. If you’re going to skimp on fish, at least compensate with potatoes and veg. The appetizer was great, and the bread pudding…best I’ve ever had. We ordered bc we were still hungry after our small meal. But the meal, the jewel of the evening, fell very short; on top of all that, it wasn't as hot as it should have been, I sent in an email first, but no response. There are several choices in town, we won't consider this again."
