"If you’re looking for an over priced Christmas lunch in a 1970s setting this is the place for you. The decor hasn’t been updated since 1972 and it held all of the promise of ‘residential care home’. With no nod to Christmas apart from loud popular music blaring, I felt like I was in a sketch from The Fast Show. I understand this was opened by Rocco Forte as a centre of cultural and gastronomic excellence. I’ve had better service, food and ambience in a Little Chef. The rest of my family were in Quaglino’s paying £100 a head for great food and atmosphere. We paid £80 a head plus wine. Come on Wales, you can do better than this!"
