"For years we visit Charente-Maritime and its coast, first as a couple and now as a family. Last year we returned for our annual summer vacation, we were pleased to see that one of the most beautiful beaches on this...Climbings of the coast was transformed by the renovation of what was once a tired, inspiring restaurant with irregular opening times to a lively, stylish beach club. a large covered terrace with an uninterrupted view of the beach was a perfect place for a long, lazy lunch and ice cold cocktails. the cool interieur with its bold tropical prints was a welcome farewell from the often rough sun. And if you didn't want to retreat into the shadow? well, la crique has provided helpful attractive feoras to keep them under cover when deciding that a hat was more her ding. the menu was seasonal, local and tasty! I grilled on an unnecessary amount of oysters, fresh from the oysters of huitres geay on the road in la tremblade. Fussy-Esser like my children were supplied with geduld and humor and I hardly remember what my man had ordered when he raised it in record time! we also returned in the evening and were entertained by a dj who played chilled summer tunes that encouraged us to try a side-shoe shuffle. at every opportunity we were greeted by the owner david and his right man, adrian, how long lost friends. the personal was error-free. the atmosphere was brilliant. children and dogs were greeted with open poor. we will definitely visit again in the summer when they are in the opposite, I insist that they book a little time in la crique, even I do not think they will regret it!"
