"The place offers traditional Italian food and they're located at Fremantle cappuccino strip. The service is friendly and the food portion is quite substantial. We ordered Penne Arrabiatta which the pasta cooked al dente and has a bit of chilli kick to it. The Benny's ribs was good too and we particularly like its BBQ sauce on the ribs. The other dish we decided to try is their Scallopini Boscaiola which is the veal with cream sauce which also is quite tasty. I have to say, there's no surprises as this is definitely a traditional Italian restaurant. Overall, our quick lunch was enjoyable and we will be back to try other dishes on the menu."

"The place is really crowded on the weekend due to good weather and finding seats are quite a challenge during lunch hours when we came but the food didn't take long at all! Although we had a little bit too much food for 3, the seafood was pretty good. The fish and chips are nicely done, the oysters are freshly shucked and the scallops are quite good too. The chilli mussels were fresh and got quite a bit of a kick to it just a shame they don't have enough sauce for us to dip our bread in. It might be better with garlic bread too instead of normal bread. Otherwise a decent experience!"

"The sign at the front said Number fish n chips in WA. So after reading that I was expecting nothing less. Unfortunately they did not deliver. We ordered the basic fish and chips. For me the batter was oily but the fish was okay....I rarely leave negative reviews but the food didn't get near what I was expecting. Pretty much on par with any basic fish and chip shop in the country. I won't be back."

"My wife and I were taken to the bar of madalena on Sunday night. the place was full of young people. the place looked great. music was loud. service was friendly. menue looked impressive. the prices looked high. but we thought of special occasions. we ordered three glasses wein and a glass beer. quite nice. eating came. black lipped mustels excellent really delicious. but only two, that is, only two oral. next came the trevally crudo. once again two very small mouthfuls of ... well thin, bland taste with some other 'unknown' elements that added little to the total experience. the third came from the sardines. dry, rather common and several mouthfuls of 'ordinary'.read more"

"Table for 5, staff very friendly but it went down hill from there. The drinks menu looked like a redacted JFK file with so many items crossed out with a black marker. Items that were still on the drinks menu and requested were no longer available, maybe a reprint would be a good idea. We ordered bruschetta for entree, this was soggy and there was no basil or fresh herbs to be seen. Veal parmigiana was over cooked and the fries were luke warm and tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. Mushroom risotto was tasteless and not a hint of wine could be smelt or tasted, it was also served on a flat plate which seemed so wrong. The worst dish was the Saltimbocca Alla Romana, this meal looked so unappetising, the vegetables had been boiled to within an inch of their lives and the mashed potato was so lumpy. Finally there was music playing in the background quite loudly which would have been fine if it hadn’t been heavy metal!!!! We could see the restaurant was doing a roaring trade in takeaway pizza which told us they must be good. So why was our restaurant meal of such a poor quality???"
