"My personal go-to place for takeaway chips. The chips are never too greasy and they’re never left in the fryer for too long so they are never too dry. Also, being a portion makes them just right The staff are also really warm and chatty, and never judge you for how much vinegar you put on your chips The biggest complaint for me is the price of the drinks- for a can of coke, really?"

"We had a great experience in the Oystermen! It was my first time to try oysters, and it fulfilled and exceeded all expectations! The food was excellent, the staff very polite and attentive. We felt very well maintained. The drinks were also very nice! We had a reservation and I would definitely recommend booking- the place was packed! The stairs to the bathroom are quite narrow and windy, which could be difficult if you drink a bit"

"First time here and what a joy. Most portions aren't huge, but the food is delicious. I wanted to try a bit of everything so ordered the seafood platter, which is £26 with a glass of prosecco, not quite sure why but it does, and it was nice. The platter was great, and you get some ackee too and plantain. My wife and friend ordered the tuna and mussels which were both good but not huge portions. the mac and cheese were superb too. 100% we'll be back"
