"Amazing! The calamari was light and delicious (and despite being a large serving, gone in about a minute). The pizza was cheesy, crispy and just the perfect amount of grease. The chicken Parmesan was outstanding the first time I've ever been able to cut through it with a fork. Unbelievably tender. Gnocchi with spinach and spaghetti carbonara were rich and flavorful. Plenty of all of the dishes for leftovers. Add to it excellent service and a family atmosphere (kid friendly, too) and Antonio's knocks it out of the park."

"Atmosphere and food were fabulous. Big pitcher of red Sangria was delicious. The service was very slow, but obviously they lack wait. An article we ordered ran out after we had ordered and we replaced another article."

"Found the restaurant to be quaint with decent culinary flares. For the Williamsburg area I would rate the Cafe Provençal an 8 out of 10. For a regional rating they are closer to a 6 out of 10. My husband's filet was seasoned and cooked well. My Salmon was ok, very fishy. The risotto was amazing. The waitstaff leaves quite a bit to be desired!! If Cafe Provençal is looking to play with the big boys they will need to upgrade to professional service staff. Our waitress had no culinary schooling only what she could read off of her order sheet! They completely missed the mark with my husband's birthday .... called ahead and informed the front of house that we were coming to celebrate his birthday.... dessert arrived and nothing.... no birthday script .... a candle??? nothing.... I expect A+ service if I am paying $140!!"
