"We can't keep away from this place. The hosts are incredible with a great/friendly attitude as well as knowledge of what they're serving, both food and drink. A great selection of Gins, all paired with a tonic and served with condiments, as well as a great wine/beer selection. The food is great with a chalk board menu that changes regularly. The pulled pork bitterballen and gambas are highly recommended!!"

"Some friends and I stayed here in early June. We were touring on motorcycles and were worried about secure parking, the staff suggested we park on the parking bays directly outside the hotel and that, as the hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day, they would keep an eye on our bikes. Fantastic! Some of us had booked sea view rooms and all agreed that it was well worth it. Binoculars were supplied in the room and it was fascinating to watch the ships entering and leaving the estuary. It was also very interesting chatting to a couple of off duty pilots who explained the history of the hotel and The Belgian Loodsensociëteit, thank you Bruno and Willem. The staff were friendly and helpful and the icing on the cake was as we left one of the bar staff came out with a glass of cold water for each of us as we prepared our bikes. very thoughtful, it was a very hot day. Will definitely stay here again."
