"We asked for a bottle of house red, the waitress proceeded to bring two glasses. I explained that that is not what we wanted, but said it was ok, just give us four glasses and charge for a bottle. When the bill came we were charged for four glasses at 30zl each. 120zl approx 25 euro. Which for a bottle of HOUSE wine in Gdańsk is extortion. Even if it was a genuine mistake charging 30zl for a glass of house wine is also extortion. I think this may be part of pattern of overcharging (scamming) tourists. The head waiter, possibly owner was also quite pushy when it was time to order and questioned all of our choices. Why is it on the menu of you think we shouldn’t order it? In the end the food was good but we were left with a sour taste in our mouths because of the money charged. We did not realize this until after the bill was paid, otherwise we would have said it at the time."

"TERRIBLE FOOD and TERRIBLE SERVICE- This is One of those places that you should only eat at if you are absolutely starving and have no other options. We ordered several dishes from the pesto pasta to the pizza to Caesar salad to a quinoa bowl and several others. The wait staff was beyond rude and we were the only people in the restaurant so it’s not like they had anybody else to serve. They refused to inquire about anything and our table so every time we needed something we had to get up and ask the Server who was sitting down using her phone the entire time. When the food finally came the pasta was so undercooked that it was crunchy. This was not al dente, I lived in Italy for years and I understand what al dente is, this was as crunchy as potato chips. The The super healthy salad I ordered came with about 2 cups of quinoa and three small pieces of kale and very little else. The quinoa was unseasoned and gummy and overcooked. The pizza may as well have been made on cardboard, it was hard and flavorless. I’m having a hard time understanding why anybody would recommend this place in the city lake Barcelona where there are so many wonderful gluten-free options."
