"Very nice place to stay on Anna Maria Island. Super short (5 min) walk to the beach, coffee shop, putt putt, restaurants etc. The room itself was newly renovated and very cozy.Beautiful pool area too, but for some reason the hot tub wasn’t hot when we were there.Overall it was an excellent experience at the Pelican Post."

"The reviews are accurate, great quality of food at a reasonable price and friendly service, but the two times I've been here, they have been understaffed. They have one person making coffee, working the register and waiting tables. Which meant slow service. It is a smaller size establishment, 30 indoor seats, and some outdoor seating. But I tend to go with the higher quality of food so it doesn't bother me. I tried the croissant dipped French toast and it was very good. My wife tried the vegetarian frittata and it was great."
