"There seems little sense to write a criticism as the restaurant today closed, forever! So sad, but the team retires or goes on to other projects and the building was sold. I have visited this place many times over the years and always had a fabulous experience. I had my wedding reception here, so there were also many good memories of this day. Sad it's gone now!"

"Wow, wow, wow! Just had a super delicious lunch here! Couldn't fault it! Service was so on the ball, drinks arrived super quickly and the setting was lovely in the sunny conservatory. The food was just delicious, every course! It was for our anniversary so not something we could afford often but they do an affordable lunch menu (3 courses for £15) which we'd happily return to try given the quality today!! Top notch!!"

"Food very good BUT the whole experience was terrible as we were embarrassed by the horrendous service. Us and our friends have never had anything so bad! Bill was £250. I spoke to the owner the following week he offered us a complimentary meal for 4 people. I then asked via email what was included and now despite several other emails there has been no reply. I ended up asking for a refund but guess what no reply. I would never go there again as the service is awful and no further correspondence which is very rude."

"We went with friends this weekend. My husband and I both chose the Pork Ribeye and both found our meals quite disappointing. The apple was uncooked and the dauphinois potatoes were just a slab of dry potatoes basically. All the helpings were small and why should we have to pay for green veg as an extra. I don’t think we’ll be hurrying back to be honest."
