"My partner and I travelled to the restaurant after reading about it in “1001 restaurants to visit before you die”. And amazingly it was even better than we anticipated. The Villa itself is beautiful, surrounded by Sicilian countryside, overlooking olive groves and has an attractive swimming pool you can use. The house retains its charm and looks and feels very much a family loved business. We were offered choices of a set menu or a la Carter and opted for the set menu which was very reasonably priced. The food was incredible!! Literally the best meal we ate during our trip to Sicily, and done of the most delicious dishes I have had in my travels around Italy. There was such variety in the dishes yet they complimented each other in flavours. The wine served was also fruity and mellow. The family all greeted us and as we showed interest in their hotel restarting discussed the dishes and the recipies. We had our last course on the terrace outside overlooking the olive groves. It was perfect. I would absolutely love to visit again in the future, perhaps to stay in the charming hotel and seek out a cookery lesson or two!!! This place deserves a long glowing review. It is truly wonderful. Thank you."
