Since the change of pawn this year we are regularly a guest and enjoy the beautiful ambience the really delicious food culinary I would even forgive 6 stars if I could. The choice for today fell to Villa Coloniale in Bordesholm, an institution in this place for several years. The on-site parking spaces were completely occupied, and on a Wednesday in the school holidays. We took it as a good sign and found a parking lot in front of the neighboring “Alte Post”. When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a grey-haired man who leaned on the Tresen in a relaxed attitude. I answered his question about our wishes: “A place for two?” “That’s still going,” he answered and offered us two different small tables in the already well-occupied guest room. Terrace area from outside But meanwhile we had registered the pupils in the guest room and asked for a table outside, i.e. in this case on a terrace above which a roof could be closed. Then the man who was probably the boss of the house led us to the terrace and gave us a table. We barely had a seat there when he already had the menus and then disappeared into the interior of the restaurant. Shortly afterwards, an operation came to our table and asked if we already had drinks. Madame ordered a mineral water (0.25l for €2.20, I waved as I wanted to look into the map. The complete menu is deposited on the restaurant's homepage, but the prices mentioned there are not up to date: [here link] The prices of the printed card in the restaurant are approx. 1,00 € higher than those mentioned on HP. We had already pre-oriented on the homepage, so the selection was not difficult: we ordered “Pizza Frutti the Mare, with shrimps, Calamari and river cancers” (11.50 €), and I ordered a soft white beer (0.5l for 3.90 €). On the homepage, the price for this pizza is still € 10.00. Operation picked up the order, thanked and disappeared in the house. Shortly afterwards she served the ordered yeast white beer and on this occasion brought a basket with white bread slices and a plate with herbal oil. That had not happened here, so the taste of the pizza was quite “flat”. A little later, the cartridge came to our table to clear the plates. On his question whether it tasted, Madame confronted him with the missing Mediterranean herbs. Thereupon a wordful explanation of us arises, we could have ordered these herbs... not like that! We don't cook here, the kitchen staff must do it themselves. We had no desire to discuss the garlic. We then tried several times to draw attention to one of the passing services, as we wanted to pay. Only a pressing ringing with the cutlery at the empty mineral water bottle then brought success, we paid and left the place somewhat disappointed."

"THE RESTAURANT The restaurant is quite hidden in a residential area of Neumünster. Without shields you would find it, but even if you already know it. There are few parking spaces in front of the restaurant. There are plenty of parking options on the road. Via a small entrance area with a wind catch you get into a kind of pre-space. There are a few tables including bar. It is bright, friendly, but rather reminds of a small pub. A small walk leads to the back of the restaurant. The walls are designed like rocks and the feeling of eating in a cozy cave is created. The tables are beautifully covered, provided they are reserved, otherwise nothing is represented except a bright tablecloth, beer lids and the classic salt pepper. At the window front it goes into the covered outdoor area. There is also a smoking area. At least, it smelled strongly toward cigarettes in the back. RESERVATION A reservation was not necessary on a Saturday at 19.00, but we were only too two. Many tables were occupied and many reserved. For this reason, I recommend a reservation here. The audience was mixed. Mostly couples, friendly groups and larger families. Prices are average. We have approx. 36€ paid. The service is friendly and has accompanied us to our table, but is underoccupied in my eyes. So we were sitting at the table for about 10 minutes before the card was given to us. However, I will then go even closer with food and drinks. Nevertheless, you feel comfortable and it's taken care of one. The toilets are clean and well maintained. After we had the choice of a two table in the cave or free selection in the front area, we chose the cozy cave. As mentioned above, we had to wait ten minutes on the map, which I don't know. Either the cards are already at the table, or they are handed over by the person who brought one to the table. However, the ordering of the beverages was quickly accepted after two minutes at the table and our order. We chose one of the recommendations. That is Pommes, Salat, Tzatziki, Reis, as well as Gyros, pork fillet, lamb fillet and liver. I usually prefer lamb or liver in Greek, but only if I have eaten there before. Such plates offer a good opportunity to assess the Greeks, which is why I always take them at the first time. The soft drinks felt both my husband and I were not ideal. We both ordered a special. Orange, fanta or the like have not been recognized, or tasted. Generally, however, everything has tasted very watery. Theoretically, I would have tipped on Cola with a splash of Fanta and the taste of the lemon. Not tragic, but I still want to mention it. After about 5 minutes the appetizer salad came. Warm bread was served. The salad was freshly washed and still slightly moist from the water. The dressing very tasty and also the olives was surprisingly large and not as tiny as from the glasses. It tasted very good to both of us and I had great hope. My husband had to go outside for an urgent phone call. That was 19.51 according to smartphone. We were chatting and at some point I looked at the clock because we wanted to check something on the phone, and there it was already 20.27. I usually know that the main dish is served 15-20 minutes after the appetizer. Some restaurants can take time and it can take 30 minutes. But the food didn't come. 20.37 the service power came to our table when she noticed our views. We're sorry, it's a lot going on, so it takes longer. I've been wondering if I should help because I always wear my health certificate with me. Normally, there is an additional help for such evenings, which are certainly no exception. At 20.58, we got our food served. For my taste a much too long waiting period between appetizer salad and main dish. In a good conversation, the time naturally flies. However, I think that such waiting times should be pointed out. Better wait a little longer and everything fresh and perfect. Nevertheless, in such a waiting period, without an announcement, the feeling is that one was simply forgotten. The food itself came lovingly dressed on the table, but without Tzatziki. On demand it was said that we had ordered both without Tzatziki. However, we were only asked when ordering whether we want pommes or rather a foil potato. Tzatziki was not a speech, and honest Greek without Tzatziki would be a bit dry. The meat was juicy, inside still slightly pink in the pig, and no single piece was dry. The Gyros was a bit crispy, but also had some fat. The liver was perfect. Only the lamb somehow didn't taste like lamb. If I hadn't known it was a lamb fillet, I would have tipped on Rind. However, highlight are the crispy, airy pommes, which are probably produced by themselves. At least I have never seen this implementation in my 10 years of gastronomy."
