"The "Calm comme a la Maison" is a cafe in a small brocante shop just off Grenade's beautiful market square. You actually eat in the shop - the kitchen is part of the shop's fittings and the table and chairs are part of the shop's inventory of furniture. This changes from week to week, so you may eat from 18th century furniture for one visit and 1920s the next. Everything is cooked in front of you and for our last visit we had a beautifully flavoured chicken on a ratatouille base, made from fresh local produce, and to finish a cherry clafoutis to die for. There is also good local wine at very reasonable prices. The proprietor is charming, very friendly and offers a warm welcome. If given a few days notice, she will offer to do one of a range of main dishes to suit your taste. We will certainly visit again"

"Je pense et j'espère pour ce restaurant que ce jour là on est mal tombé.. le chef était malade donc absent, la serveuse a fait ce qu'elle a pu mais au final au aurait mieux fait de fermer ce jour là ... plein de ruptures sur la carte, et ayant fini par me rabattre sur un poisson, on me sert du surgelé, trop cuit.. avec de la mayonnaise en sachet... du pain dur,.. et coté dessert je préfère ne même pas en parler...Devant notre air dépité, elle a fini par s'excuser mais on a quand même payé plein pot et elle nous a offert les cafés...Bref, je n'en garde pas un bon souvenir du tout..."
