"This creperie was as authentic as it could get. It was in a traditional Breton stone house. It felt homely and cosy. The owner and the staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. The prices were very reasonable. The crepes (both savory and sweet) here were absolutely delicious. They were some of the best crepes we had in Brittany. We highly recommend it."

"If you are circumnavigating Quimper North to South or South to North, using the smaller roads, you will by-pass the pleasant little town of Plogonnec. If you are in need of sustenance, go into the town centre and Le Relais de Nevet is right by the church. The exterior oft the building did not give a clue to the vast room behind the bar and dining area. It must have seated a hundred and guess what? It was full! The cavernous space was cleverly offset by very large canvas's of modern art, and had a pleasant bright atmosphere. We were seated in the front dining area and two bottles had been set at the table. One was a litre of bottled water and the other, a litre of lemonade! I was really intrigued by that. No menus were brought out so we were told to go and help ourselves to wine which came out of a ten litre box, Empty 50cl carafes were standing by to be filled with red or rose. After the wine excursion two plates of starters were waiting with a basket of bread and loads of wrapped butters enough for four. The starter had cubes of ham, cheese melon, leaves tomatoes and half an egg. Mains was braised beef with penne. There was a choice of desserts and cheese which I took and was left with a plate of four cheeses to help myself to. Coffee I think was included. For all that the cost for two of us was 23.40 euros I could see there were other menus as a blackboard not on display had a very interesting evening menu and it was 29 euros. I deduced pizza was available by the row of oil bottles so it is an establishment for light or substantial meals Le Relais de Nevet is also a hotel and does functions like weddings. I found a web site after we'd got home. The score of three reflects the actual food which was average but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience which I would repeat and maybe get to the bottom of the lemonade mystery. I actually did see a man pour some into his rose wine which would make it a (sweet) spritzer? Establishments like this are a threatened breed which is such a pity. In no way can a slice of pizza eaten in plastic settings give any feel of the character of Breton heritage that lies behind the rustic portals waiting to be discovered by you when you are next visiting Brittany."
