"We have booked a few days ago on the phone for fathers sitting and we were not told that there was a set menu. yesterday we called to confirm the booking time and got told last minute that there is a set menu, I asked kindly what was on the set menu? He said no worries that we like it. we came, sat and served some tasty chicken roasts that we have never heard of any Chinese restoratives, forced to be served in desserts when none of us has eaten fish and seafood that did not like all of us, we expected some well-known classics such as satay huh, honey-wagon, early rolls something that everyone is more farmiliar with. we were forced to supplement these dishes on the other and had to pay $300 for the half of it not even touched. they refused, even courts to what we prefer, but that's okay because we're not back."

"Having eaten here twice before over the years and again recently the quality of the dishes has dropped to a very low standard. I suspect a change in chef/owners has occured as there is no way a Master Chef would operate this restaurant. Four of...us dined here recently and we ordered Peking Duck for entree done two ways, first traditional pancake style then san choy bow style. The pancake was doughy and tough, and the duck bland. The san choy bow not much better. Next came pippies in XO sauce which although the pippies were fresh the sauce was too thick and heavy. Being renown for seafood we ordered mub crab in a Singaporean chilli style sauce. Having had this dish many times in Singapore and Malaysia we knew what it should taste like, it was a total dissapointment. The dish was a soup not a sauce, very very sweet in a sickly way and the chilli very mild even though we ordered it hot. The Szechuan prawns came out looking very much like they were done in XO sauce, much like the pippies. The only dish that was acceptable was the Malaysian beans! Although the restaurant was full of diners (asian) we found the dishes to be to heavily western in flavour and influence, it has received some awards in previous years but I suspect those were when the original Master Chef was in charge. We will not be coming here again anytime soon."
