"We must of picked the wrong day to go here as we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for the food and when got back to our accommodation the some of the chips weren't cooked through properly and the pizza that we shared was quite tasteless as it hardly had any tomato topping on it . We will try them again in September and hope that it was a one off and see what it's like . I will review again then and hopefully it will be a good review next time ."

"Booked into here last night for a party of six after completing a funeral service for my friends parents,we arrived on time and found there was a very limited menu to choose from and three members of our party were unable to find anything they could eat,we therefore very politely informed the lovely young waitress that we were unable to order food but would still like to have a drink, she then retired to fulfill the drinks orders and obviously informed the owner/ manager that we were unable to order food,we and everyone else in the restaurant heard him fly into a rage shouting and swearing and calling us all sorts of profanities for well over 10 minutes,just prior to his fit of anger we as a group had discussed and agreed to pay a partial cancellation fee ,even though this was not asked for, I personally run a multi million pound entertainment venue so understand the frustration that late cancellations cause but after the disgusting tirade we heard that decision was quickly overturned and we left, I definitely would not recommend visiting this establishment."

"Me and my friend went here just for a wee dinner, the service was absolutely amazing and the staff where really kind. I got a chunky chips a pint of Diet Coke and a ice cream while my friend only got a chunky chips and a Diet Coke. The food was outstanding the chef did an amazing job for us and other people in the restaurant by the looks of it. The restaurant it’s self had a lovely layout with beautiful views of the canal with boats passing from time to time. It was a bit busy and no seats in the restaurant but we sat in the bar and it was just as nice with a lovely photo on the wall of caol and fort William I have to say that the staff was incredible They where running about helping everyone and there was a really nice school girl about aged 16 with blonde hair who served us and did a fantastic job and she definitely deserved that £100 tip I gave her and only her as she was incredibly quick and could care lots of plates at a time. These school kids who work there deserve a raise as it was so nice we would like to thank them and the staff and the chef for a lovely time. We also stayed there and the rooms where so nice and spacious Thank yous all for suck a lovely time Barbara. xxx"
