"We loved this little restaurant! Beautiful view of Lake Huron from the back, excellent and friendly staff, and the food was surprisingly great! We had expected it to be a good, regular American fare, but it was better than expected. We even had the last customers of the night come in just 45 minutes to close, and the staff was thrilled to host us (not upset, as it is sometimes the case before closing. Definitely a great small place in St. Ignace."

"Better than what I expected based on the rating. There seemed to be only one fella working the floor (kinda looked like an old-school Brooklyn or Chicago line cook. You know... beer gut, 5 O'clock shadow, vaguely Italian looking) but he was right on top of things. Kept checking up on me to make sure I didn't need anything. He also saved me a little coin because although I initially didn't want the Wednesday burger special since it came with unlimited fries and slaw, which I didn't need, he ended up charging me for it because it was cheaper than the regular price of all the burger toppings I ordered. Burger was good; like one you'd make at home and was perfectly medium-rare as I had asked for. I also like the atmosphere a lot. It's primarily train and nautical themed and I'm a sucker for railroad paraphernalia. Plus, they have one Hell of a view of the water. I'd hang on the patio or at the bar all day if I was in the area."
