"I ordered the seafood platter and can honestly say that it was one of the best I have ever had. The quantity and quality of the serving made me feel that it was well worth the (just under) $25 price. My companion had the hamburger steak with a loaded baked potato and seemed very happy with her choice as well. All of the service staff are young and eager to please. They were all attentive and efficient, and as nice as they could be just outstanding!Parking: The parking lot could use restriping and better lighting."

"We were visiting Covington for a friend's funeral. After a long 6 hour drive from Houston we ate dinner at Don's. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. My husband and I split the catfish dinner and had some left over to take back to our hotel which we ate for lunch the next day. My Blood Orange Margarita was outstanding! I wish I could remember our server's name, because she was just delightful. She always had a huge smile on her face and was very attentive. I don't know when we will visit the area again, but if we do we will definitely eat there again!"
