"I have been buying Paties from Warrens which is the oldest continuous Pasty Maker in SW Cornwall, and I still buy from them (before Covid) from time to time. I used to buy their really nice Goose and Split Tin bread loaves for many years but during the last year (2019) they stopped doing that bread and the stuff they do have in isn't as nice as it used to be. They seem to have focused on cheap Generic loaves now and Speciality Breads which are not that cheap so I have stopped buying bread from there and now only get Pasties."

"A consistently good fish and chips takeaway. Check the opening times as they're usually not open on a Saturday which is a shame. Good portions. I usually eat down at Cape Cornwall so great for the view. The Co-op across from Jeremy's is convenient if you want to take your own ketchup and vinegar with you! "Walked from Penzance, short walk along the front. £14 for two fish and chips, lot more expensive than at home but then again a lot fresher. It was delicious and too much for me to finish but we sat on the beach and they stayed...nice and hot."

"Wonderful staff and food. The food prices is great . Definitely would go there again. The best Chinese takeaway I have been to. The family that run the takeaway is kind and welcoming . "We would highly recommend going to the Queen's Arms. This very friendly local is just perfect for an evening meal and is extremely dog friendly. We had a great meal with fantastic service. Our 3 dogs were very relaxed in the homely setting and the locals were very friendly, sad that this type of pub is so hard to find nowadays! Will definitely be using this pub every time we are in this area form now on. (I would recommend ringing to book a table)"
