"We typically use this takeaway once by 15 clock or so, and have this for years also during the pandemic. eating is consistently good, well cooked and tasty. we have made a mix of Chinese and Thai and I would recommend them all. how reasonable price and good value to take along as traditional. I would go so far to say that we never had a disappointing meal here, so they try it!"

"It seems to be under new management. Service was polite but it seem expensive at £19 for two cod, one portion of chips and a couple of portions of mushy peas. I could forgive that however it had been nice. Unfortunately what was always a good takeaway meal from here is now awful. Our cod was think and overcooked and not fresh at a guess it was from frozen. The chips were stale and not fresh. Sadly we won’t be coming back."

"I have to say I think my jaw visibly dropped. I was expecting fish and chips, sausage and mash and mushroom risotto. Having a menu like the below raised a different issue entirely; what to choose when everything sounds so good. It seemed to have all the in vogue stuff on it: Gloucester Old Spot, rabbit, barley broth, smoked bone marrow and pig's cheeks. It felt like a more modern version of what you might have found cooking there 100 years ago. There was much deliberating."
