"Sunday lunch. Burgers are made fresh, and fries were nice and hot. Cashier was super welcoming. I think his name is Dave, according to the receipt. Thank you to the whole team!"

"I am only writing this because I had a fantastic experience with the person running the drive thru. It was late, I had a complicated order (2 coupons) and wanted the orders separated. The guy at the drive-thru window was not only extremely nice, but also patient while I was trying to order. I even forgot something and when I got to the window he was more than happy to add it for me. I didn't see his name, but he works the after 11 PM shift! Great experience."

"I placed my order with the cashier (Kora) who had just finished cleaning behind the counter. Kora had plastic gloves on when she entered my order into the register, took my money which included dollar bills and coins. After she was finished taking my order, she handed me my drink cup without removing the gloves. She then turned around, grabbed a bag of fries out of the freezer, put them in the oil to cook. After she put my fries down, she continued to clean and stock the food containers. She never did change her gloves. I confronted her and asked if she was supposed to change her gloves before touching the food and she said she did not directly touch the food. I told her that she did touch my fries and my food was going to be put into the containers that she had just stocked and contaminated. I asked to speak with the manager (George). When he came to the front, he told me that at Wendy's, they were allowed to use the same gloves to make fries that were used for cleaning as well as collecting money. After I asked for a refund and told them that I do not believe they were following food safety protocols George again told me that at Wendy's they are allowed to do that. Once I got my refund, I observed Kora putting the dirty gloves on the food prep counter instead of in the garbage."

"I try to minimize my fast food intake, but sometimes you're in a hurry on your lunch break and needing to bug something to eat heading home ftom an errand. This place offers a quick drive-thru experience not far from Grove and Washtenaw, with a pretty stripped down menu that focuses on a handful of meal styles that cater to different tastes. I don't go in for fried chicken bowls but they will serve it that way. They also serve their fill-ups in sandwich form. I usually get one of their fill-up meals, but opting for a simple fried breast as entree (number 15) and getting a side of mac or mashed potatoes. You get a fountain drink with that, and like most places one of the options is a vitamin beverage. It's a fast, cheap and hearty lunch with some decent chicken for under $10, served almost as fast as you can order it. For what it does? No real complaints. If you don't mind paying a little more they have some specialty entrees that come in more flavor varieties than the more economic options, which already tend to be plenty of food. The staff seem inexperienced, but polite and helpful. They also sell affordable buckets that serve many if you're looking to feed a family a robust dinner quickly. Only open until like 8, so not so much a late night option unless you stocked up earlier. Their Nashville flavor is some of the hottest chicken in town, matched by only a few of the major players in the town's fried chicken scene. They're a useful addition to the neighborhood's fast food options."
