"Still great! was not in years. it was correct, more correct place and went for all breakfast burritos (bronco burrito). regrettable, but it has nothing to do with the fact that the waiting period after I got it home, dipped into the freshly made green salsa and had the first bite. highly recommended if they had no one yet. parking is difficult, but not so much on a motorcycle."

"Oh my goodness! You guys have the absolute best breakfast burritos with salsa that I’ve ever had. The tortillas were amazing and all of the flavors inside were delicious. If this wasn’t our first trip to Galveston and we weren’t intent on exploring all the breakfast options we would’ve been here each day for breakfast. Your server was the nicest man. We will definitely be back some time to try more of your dishes."

"We decided to stop here for breakfast. They had no menu at the time, but we were gone and I'm glad we did. The Huevos rancheros are delicious. The chorizo is made at home with a 150 year old recipe and it was the best I ever had! The salsa just looked, but I eat it. Not to season, right. It's a small hole in the wall, but it's great."

"Great breakfast spot. Nice atmosphere small but very roomy. Food was delicious. My tacos listed as “burritos” were as big as the plate it was served on. Cons for this place was only that they let dogs in and made their presence known. Very friendly staff and restaurant."

"Currently only open for breakfast and lunch (at 2:30 pm). An early lunch. Beautiful and bright living room. The Guacamole was excellent. Good chips and salsa (although I prefer a thicker salsa). I tried the Enchilada plate that had a chicken, cheese and beef enchilada. All right. I agree with some other critics that their waiters could work on their attention. Many employees, but very small visits at the table. I definitely come back to try their breakfast. Definitely worth a visit! Finding a parking lot can be tricky."

"Visited Tortuga on Easter Sunday. We chose to sit on their patio, which has a lovely view of the Gulf. It's separated by the highway and highway noise, but still nice and shaded. The tables were not in great repair, but I guess that is the price of a restaurant in the salt air. Service was good. Food was tasty, if unremarkable. They offer margarita flights, which were adorable and delicious. My husband really liked the prickly pear, but my favorite was the house lime. Tortuga is a good spot for Mexican classics. We would visit again.."
