"War nach längerer Zeit wieder mal beim Schlagerwirt. Die frühere Jausenstation für Wanderer hat sich inzwischen zur Fullsize-Gastronomie gemausert. Leider gilt das auch für die Preise.Die Karte bietet regionale Köstlichkeiten, die Speisen werden vorzüglich angerichtet und sind äußerst schmackhaft. Der Most kommt aus eigener Produktion, das Ambiete in der Gaststube ist top. Die Einrichtung besteht aus noblem Holz, es wirkt alles sehr neu und man fühlt sich wohl.Eigentlich wäre das alles 5 Sterne wert. Warum es trotzdem nur 3 geworden sind, liegt zum einen an den gesalzenen Preisen. Eine Brettljause kostet 9,50. Dabei wird aber jede einzelne zusätzliche Scheibe Brot ebenso wie bei allen anderen Jausengerichten noch mal mit 1 Euro extra berechnet. Das Schnitzel gibts je nach Fleischart ab 13,90 aufwärts, die Eispalatschinke kostet 6,90. Das Achterl gemischter Satz oder DAC-Wein kostet 3,30 Euro. Insgesamt mag das für das Linzer Preisniveau in Ordnung sein, für diese Region und Lage des Gasthauses ist es schlichtweg zu viel. Zum anderen war auffällig, dass der Chef des Hauses nicht gerade seinen Charme spielen hat lassen und eher desinteressiert und wenig engagiert gewirkt hat. Mehr als das notwendigste geredet hat er mit den Gästen jedenfalls nicht, auf höfliche Sonderwünsche reagierte er auch schon mal überraschend unwirsch.Insgesamt also kann man den Schlagerwirt zwar empfehlen, eine freundlich-überschwängliche Bedienung und Jausenstation-Preise darf man sich aber nicht erwarten."

"Haben dort übernachtet, auf Empfehlung eines Einheimischen. Gegessen haben wir nicht obwohl es uns empfohlen wurde... Das Zimmer war mit Donaublick... Nicht highclass aber alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig... Insgesamt voll in Ordnung und ausreichend....für Radlfahrer mit nur einer Übernachtung voll in Ordnung!"

"I've been here a few times in summer and winter. in summer outside with a great view of the danube sitting is fantastic. in winter, when sitting in the inner, there is a beautiful window seat, where they also have a beautiful view...on the danube plus there is also a warm fireplace next to them, which there is an extra beautiful ambiente and cozy feeling. eating is Austrian cuisine so nothing to extravagant, but never despise the taste buds. price is reasonable and everything in all its nicest Austrian restaurants I know."

"Würden sehr freundlich auf genommen, schöne Pension mit romantischen Innenhof, Zimmer sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Nicht groß,Ca 16 qm kleiner Biergarten mit Stekerlfisch( sehr lecker und frisch) vom Holzkohlen Grill, gutes Frühstück aber nur Aufback Brötchen. Schade. Aber immer wieder"
