"Very friendly staff.. Everyone welcomed us when we came in. The food was good and fresh. The salsa was hot!! But I liked it. Our waitress was really nice and took really food care of us. She helped us move our tables to fit our big party and warmed up our water for our baby's bottle. Loved this place we will be back again."
Look forward to the diverse, delicious Mexican cuisine, traditionally prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers).

"We like to stop at Torchy’s after visiting the Houston Texas Temple. The menu provides a variety of flavors and styles to meet many different tastes. On this viait, I had the Cjicken Fajita and Beef Fajita tacos. Both were tasty with just the right touch of hot flavor. The Chicken Fajita was a little messy today with the sauces running down my fingers as I held the rolled taco in my hand. I also had chips and queso. Torchy’s queso is one of my favorites. It is served with a dallup of guacamole in the bowl and a garnish of hot sauce. The service was fast. The tables were all clean."

"The food was fine. The seaweed was abundantly spicy. It unfortunately overpowered the rest of the food. I was surprised at the amount of shrimp tempura that went into the burrito (2 pieces). I don’t even know how to describe the customer service. It seemed rather painful for both employees. Coming from a background in the food industry, I was shocked at how it was okay to have loose hair, baggy clothes, and just seem rather unkept. I would compare the level of personality we saw with a wet spoon. The atmosphere was fairly sad. Several dirty tables, the floor seemed pretty sticky, 1 of the menu panels were out, and the ice machine was out of ice. The refrigerator with additional teas/drinks in it clearly was not working because the tea was piss warm. It looked like there was mold on the bottom panel. $79.00 for a family of 4. It was completely not worth it. I was so excited to try this place and it was pretty much a let down. Service: Dine in Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Great mini (whole in the wall dive style) with a family atmosphere and home cooking... Menudo needs a little work for me, it was light in content and flavor... Tamales are good ... we orded 3 dozen for home. But, the customers can be a little unruly with their verbiage. Just my opinion... Worth a visit if in the area."
