"Lovely ambience. The food and service was amazing. It is a sushi restaurant though, so 95% of the menu is catered to sushi with a few options for non sushi eaters like risotto and steak. Cocktails are well made, props to the bartender. Would return."

"Lots of room for improvement! Maybe I'm at fault but I will relay my experience. I went on valentines night no reservation (my fault) but you didn't need a reservation still I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Anyway we looked at the menu the food descriptions were great made me want to try everything! So for the appetiser we had mushroom filled with escargot. For the main I ordered the stew pork with buttered rice and my date ordered the baked layered cod with potatoes (description made it sound really good). Fast forward mins after placing the order we are still waiting on the appetiser I'll chalk up the long wait time for the busy valentine night. It was small mushrooms stuffed with escargot only tasted mushrooms. Skip another minutes and finally our food arrives!! I look down at my stew pork, blogs of meat covered in a grey gravy. This is new I'm sure it'll taste good right... The other dish is in a lovely small cast-iron pan. A golden brown crust with a boiled egg cut in half, surrounded by four olives. Confused we ask the waitress if this was the correct dish since the description didn't indicate such. The waitress was kind and informed us that it comes with that. So I dig in to my grey stew pork, now I'm not sure the inspiration of the dish so who am I to dispute the grey colour. Now I never ate the jail food you see on tv shows but the grey stew pork I had I suspect tastes exactly like how the jail food on TV looks. As for the cod I have yet to taste the fish in the dish as the bites I took only tasted of potatoe and cream. Again I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk this up to the place being busy where they were unable to maintain their standard, I hope. Unfortunately based on my experience I'd recommend them maybe for a glass of wine but definitely not their food it was really terrible. I wish i took pictures to show you all."

"Excellent eating served with amazing service. angelo is very attentive to his customers and he talks with each table about their meal experience. eating was divine and was always. the waiting staff is knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. they make her eat a real pleasure. there's nowhere else in trinidad as uncontaminated. it is an intimate, fine restaurant at a favorable location in a vintage home redone to match an unobstructed vision for its restaurant. I will not only go over and over again, I want to encourage my friends and family to enjoy the creativity and the general delicacies that are free. eating is not only great, but also beautiful. the portions are perfect and the aromes are rich and well balanced. this restaurant is definitely worth a visit."
