"Couldn 't ask for a nicer staff, a more pleasant atmosphere, or better food drinks! A few discombobulated thoughts: The folks who work here are so nice, which is a great start to the Danish Cafe experience. As others have noted, this place serves better Danishes than anyplace else I 've been. I didn 't know what a Danish should be until I tried one of theirs (which was, by the way, on the house on a day when they unexpectedly closed early good customer service). The place itself is spacious airy, with lots of natural sunlight high ceilings, which lends itself to a positive atmosphere. They offer free, stable wifi , as one of the staffers told me, 'We never kick anyone out! ' though when I work from their dining room for the day, I try to buy something every couple of hours to pay my keep. Great food! I love the Chicken Douglas (grilled chicken, curried mayo, pineapple, bacon on ciabatta), which is light but filling comes with a small salad on the side. Some of the traditional Dabish offerings may seem intimidating to American audiences, but nothing is too wacky or out there. Their coffee is really strong. My boyfriend likes it this way; if you don 't, add a shot of flavor to your latte, like I do. You 've been warned! I 've not had any trouble with slow service, as some other reviewers have. The place has been in business for a few months now, so perhaps they 've worked out the kinks figured out their flow. I love it here feel that red Bank has acquired a real gem with the Danish Cafe."

"Went here after failing to find what I wanted locally. So worth the 30 minute drive! First impressions when walking in and seeing the display case was what I imagine a patassieire in Paris to look like. The closest comparison I have is some of the bakeries in New Orleans. I was assisted by Fiona and Molly and they were sweet and super helpful, explaining everything and answering every question even while lunch got cold. And everything tasted great. Berry tarts, creme brulee, chocolate awesomeness of various kinds, some eclairs, macaroons, cream puffs, etc. Everything was scrumptious."

"Before a show in the count basie theatre ins bistro. our server was very attentive and happy to tell us about the menu and the wine. wein is just at the bottle, so if they just want a glass of wine, they have to bring their own. since I am from nyc, I did not know about byob, but the bottles of wein were offered very cheap. eating was served timely and our server came back several times to the table to make sure we were happy and needed nothing. the food presentation was really nice and was very good. the menu is limited and probably best approached as italian or asian. either choose Italian elements from the menu or Asian inspired elements from the menu. We chose Asian items sushi rolls and chicken lo mine. it was very pleasant and we will definitely return to this restaurant."
