"We stayed at Chateau Beau Jardin and ate here one evening. The food, service and atmosphere were all lovely. My husband and son had the prix fixed menu which included hare, apparently a seasonal specialty. I had a burger with foie gras that was wonderful. Chateau Beau Jardin is a nice place to stay but if you are in the area and the restaurant is open, visit even if you are staying someplace else."
The place also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in nice weather.

"This place has never had enough aircon, it's always hot, and the place always fills with oily smell, even it's a new cafe. I preordered a birthday cake two days before the Boxing Day, I paid in full in advance. On the day when I was picking up my cake they told me it had been picked up. I confirmed with my family no body had picked it up. They said they had given to a wrong customer with the same name. They kept me waited and waited and finally said they would make another one for me. But there was no apologies at all. So they have lost my business I will NOT go back again until there is some significant improvement."

"We tried Nando's once in QLD, it was a really bad experience that we never came back to any other Nando's for years until we moved to Darwin and thought let's give it a shot! . BEST DECISION EVER, staff was friendly, food delicious and fresh, great portions. They have won a family back !"

"My partner and I decided to try Oka tonight The decor is modern, clean and bright. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly welcoming staff with big smiles. I opted for a selection of entrees rather than a main meal which were bought to our table promptly. The food was great fresh light and sumptious! My partner had a main of garlic prawns and stir fried vegetables which was a generous serve in fact too generous for him to finish! All meals and drinks are reasonably priced.Frank (I'm guessing the owner) was wonderful, visiting all tables and chatting with patrons whilst serving drinks and making recommendations. He had a way of making each patron feel special and attended to.Thoroughly enjoyable meal, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommended for an enjoyable meal in Palmerston."
