"Very authentic french cafe, full of locals passing the time of day. Looks a little dark and dingy on the inside but that's part of the charm. Food was simple but good quality and reasonably priced. Service very welcoming and friendly despite our marginal french ability. Probably also a good place just to stop in for a drink and a nice ice cream."

Both were pointed notches, with amuse-bouches (cold sweet soup) and mini (boozy) sorbets. the garnels in a foie grass sauce were original and delicious. main court fish dishes. were fresh and delicious. superhaft finished with cafe gourmandises. the service was impeccable. should definitely have a Michelin star."
