"If I had only one word to describe SteepLeaf, it would be SUBLIME. We discovered this treasure quite by accident and were hooked as soon as we walked in the door. The ambience here is wonderful. Chef Michelle and her husband Kurt are, quite simply, lovely people with interesting stories to tell and they go out of their way to make the dining experience special for their patrons. They are quite happy to chat but also know when to give their visitors some space. And boy, do they know their way around the kitchen! The food here is just exquisite and easily compares to anything you would get in the big city. The Trois Terrine was hands down the best appetizer we have had in a long while and both the Seafood St. Jacques and bacon-wrapped filet were exceptional. We were so enthralled with SteepLeaf that we brought my sister back for lunch the next day and she was just as impressed as we were. The combination of delicious food, aromatic spices and fabulous teas makes SteepLeaf well worth visiting over and over again. In fact, I think my hubby is taking a client there for dinner this week and I am jealous!"

"Heads up-before you order 1/2 price Appetizers inquire as to what is included from the Appetizer list...as Oysters are not 1/2 price! Lack of service staff; no fault of theirs; as the waitresses were run off their feet! Management did little to nothing to assist servers; as wait was long to think "Christmas was Coming" sooner then the drinks, food, and bill. Food was average at best...we have been customers over many years...as will not return."
